The Heart of the Home: A Kitchen Reimagined
The star of this kitchen transformation is the cabinetry from Waypoint Living Spaces paired with Tob Knobs hardware from the Kinney Collection. We chose their elegant Painted Linen finish to keep the space bright and airy, while maintaining a clean, classic look. The cabinetry provides plenty of storage, giving this kitchen a sense of both openness and practicality.
The brushed gold hardware adds a luxurious yet subtle touch, beautifully complementing the soft tones of the kitchen. This choice helps tie together the coastal-inspired theme with a modern flair. We cannot go without mentioning the vintage-look green island. With storage galore and fresh hardware, it makes the perfect statement in this space.
The countertops feature quartz in the Daltile Freedom Calacatta selection. These countertops not only provide a durable surface perfect for daily use, but their elegant marble-like veining adds a touch of sophistication to the room. The island, with its sleek quartz top, is the perfect space for casual dining and food prep, while also serving as the kitchen’s central design statement.
We chose Floridatile from Owens Flooring & Interiors for the backsplash, laid in a vertical brick pattern. The textured tiles add depth and visual interest to the walls, creating a lovely contrast to the smooth cabinetry and countertops. This design choice draws the eye without overpowering the room’s calm, coastal aesthetic.
The kitchen is equipped with premium stainless steel appliances, offering both efficiency and style. The stainless steel pairs perfectly with the gold hardware, while modern lighting fixtures and a beautiful faucet add warm, inviting accents.
To complete the remodel, we carried the new LVP flooring into the living room, updating the trim by adding built-ins around the fireplace. This collected home has so much character while staying clean, elevated and modern.
